The Market is a one-stop shop for Columbia Country Club members to order food and beverages, shop take-home items, and more. Formerly known as the “Poolside Cafe”, the space was only open from June through August and exclusively offered a limited food and beverage menu. The highlights of “The Market” rebrand were its transition to year-round operation; expanding offerings to include branded grab-and-go items, merchandise, seasonal to-go kits (ex. Gingerbread house decorating kits in the winter); and hosting themed Club events on a newly constructed outdoor patio. My role was to take the lead on creative direction, design, and building a distinct brand identity that separated The Market from the corporate branding of Columbia. With that in mind, the key elements were a colorful palette to represent all seasons throughout the year, whimsical typography, and a fun and playful visual identity.
